Ennis Butchers has been a family butcher shop feeding the people of South Dublin suburb Rialto and the South Circular Road area since it first opened its doors in 1947.
Fast forward 50 years when Derek Bolger, a second generation butcher took it over and created the award-winning foodie destination it is today.
Derek’s passion is good quality food and his discerning and diverse clientele travel from near and far to sample the high quality food range he stocks.

We have our own dry aged fridge where you can see the finest quality Irish beef hanging and maturing before it gets to your plate. We specialise in unique cuts for that special occasion, delicious barbecue ready dishes and special orders.
Derek is happy to discuss your requirements with you and has been known to offer sage cooking advice and recipe suggestions. He is also something of a barbecue legend so he’s the man to talk to if you’re planning al fresco dining.

Ennis Butchers are best known for cut dry-aged steaks and their famous homemade Ennis’s Burgers but you will also find a cornucopia of artisan foods in-store including fresh bread, organic fruit & vegetables and a huge selection of delicious accompaniments to our meat products.
We work only with the best Irish suppliers – Sean Ring’s Organic Chicken, Terminfeckin Turkeys, Lilliput Trading Company, Dillons Organics, Nick’s Fish and Firehouse Bakery to name but a few. We also stock the much sought after Rialto Honey made by our local bees!
